I just got a DeSantis Intruder IWB from Midway. The one I bought for my Bodyguard 380 works perfect, so I picked one up for the Shield. Great fit, with height adjustment for exposure above the belt line. It slips a bit with an undershirt, but barely any movement against bare skin.

Snagged a DeSantis Superfly Pocket holster for cargo pants pocket carry. Good set up for both.

Thanks for the great review. Come by and see us again soon.. .

You may want to look at PJ Holsters. He makes some nice kydex models at a very reasonable price.

I am awaiting my Banshee IWB from Wright Leather Works. His work is really topnotch, and I prefer a leather home for my Shield. Also, on their site is a great you-tube reviewing the holster- check it out. When I placed my order, I made a mistake, e-mailed them and received an e-mail back from Brandon Wright immediately...and it was a Sunday! So far, their service is stellar! Can't wait for the holster. Below is the link to their site.

Raven is one of the best Kydex holster makers in the business. They may have longer lead times than others, but are well worth the wait.

I posted earlier about how I dig my FoxX Holsters. Here is a pic as proof. Left side housing the FS9 is the Little FoxX. On the right with the Shield is the FoxX Trapp. On a side note: got in the mail today my Crossbreed belts: Outfreakingstanding! Great buy on both the holsters from FoxX and belts from Crossbreed!

I went with Garrett for the Shield, liked the silent draw and the leather lined kydex.

Can't say much about it, just ordered it this afternoon but the reviews look good

I stand corrected, can't get this holster for the Shield + Crimson Trace LG 489 right now as they are waiting on molds from Duncan who is waiting for CT.

Stopped by CT today to get an ETA but looks like they could be a little ways out.

Everyone is going as fast as they can!

Maybe I'm overthinking this holster thing after seeing so many say they have a dresser drawer full of holsters

clips vs loops, spread apart or closer together etc

I just want a leather holster for the Shield but many I visit don't allow for the CT 489?

Now that I have a Shield I'm looking to go with a IWB holster. The two that I like are PJ holster and N82 tuckable. For those of you with the experience could you give some feedback on these. I'm kind of leaning toward the N82 because I like the idea of the choice of the tuckable to be used either way. Long pants I tuck. Shorts I don't. IWB holsters are new to me.

I just ordered the DeSantis Intruder IWB last night.

Does the Superfly move around much?

Thanks,

Blackhawk Holster

As I have posted on other Shield holster threads, I use a Blackhawk #28 Askins Compact Concealment holster for my M&P pistols. This model can be used with full size, compact or Shield pistols. It keeps the pistol high and close to the body for concealed carry and is very convenient for open carry as well. It costs between $50-$60 and is really nice Italian leather.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you like your holster. For those of you looking for a holster compatible with the Crimson Trace LG-489 I can do that combination as well as a basic Shield.

I have a few but by far the best I have found for my shields are the N82 pro.. Comfy and works perfectly for my carry needs. I wear shorts and a tshirt most of the time, no issues.

I trimmed about an inch off the muzzle end of the f/s M&P Galco Fletch which jbylake gave away last March, adding some stiching around the trigger guard/dust cover tightened it up just fine. I'll add a pic when time allows.
