I have not seen many post on the shield 45. Looking forward to when mine arrives soon. Many will recall I had a shield 40 that blew up on me due to a hot factory load. I have always had the shield 9 and love it and now excited about the new shield 45 which I should have here shortly soon as it comes in and at a great price!

Congrats on your purchase, and yes, I remember your thread about your .40 blowing up due to over pressure Magtech ammo. That sure was some bad luck and glad Magtech reimbursed you!
There are a few posts here about the Shield .45 and some on the other site as well. The Shield group on Facebook has quite a bit of talk about it too. The old .45 fans are pretty excited about it.
For me, since I already own a Shield 40 I see no benefit in getting a Shield 45. I do see a couple of disadvantages for me though and those are the grip being over a quarter of an inch longer and the added cost of the ammo.
