Crossbreed Mini Tuck. Awesome holster. If I'm wearing sweats or basketball shorts etc I wear a Brave Response.

I carry mine in a DM Bullard Dual carry holster set up for IWB. Best holster I have ever used. Very comfortable. I live in Western Massachusetts and have no relationship with them, other than as a very satisfied customer.

I'm a noobie to conceal carry. Has anyone use the G2 Urban Carry?

https://urbancarryholsters.com/holst...y-holster.html

I have seen both spectrum love and hate for the G2.

Also, was looking at Alien Gear... and was thinking on the 5 o'clock position due to my fat azz belly. Being at the 5 o'clock would it be a right side holster (which means the gun handle is pointing to the left, away from my right hand) or a left side holster (which means the gun handle is pointing to the right toward my right hand).

I was born with the affliction called "No Buttitis" so I have to cinch my belt tight just to keep my pants up! In their video they say "Urban Carry is not designed to be worn with tightly worn pants", so that leaves me out.

I have been using the holster linked in my signature for 4 years now and wear it at about the 3:30 position. I really like the holster, have one for my 40fs/40c and my Shield 40.

I think the optimal position to conceal carry would be in the 2:30 to 3:30 position, but due to my belly/love handles. I feel it will be to uncomfortable/hurt to carry in that area. So I was thinking the best position for me would be the 4:30 to 5:30 position. If I go 4:30 the right hand holster is correct, but at 5 or 5:30 I can see either right or left hand holster working. Please correct me if I am wrong in my logic of 5/5:30 position be either right or left handed holsters.

I think you will find almost all iwb holsters will attach to your belt , so you will still have the buttitis thing I have finaly gave up trying to keep my pants up with a belt only and went to suspenders also, it is the best thing I have done to keep my pants up , I have a alien gear and love it I carry about 130 - 200 oclock and it works with my fat belly

I've tried numerous holsters with my Shield and all were top names. I carried a 4" 1911 Wilson in a Milt Sparks VMII and it was very comfortable, considering the size/weight of the gun. I couldn't find one that was really comfortable, reliable, or numerous issues, for my Shield. I should have spent the $$$ up front for my VMII. It fits just perfect for me and I forget I'm carrying at times. I spent way more trying to buy and "off the shelf," holster I liked, and never did. It takes them awhile to make, but the quality and fit and finish, are well worth the wait. I find myself carrying much more since the VMII came in the mail.

I used a few holsters for the Shield 9 when I had it (kept the Shield 45):

Drew's Dog dual snap IWB
Winthrop Leather IWB clip with & without body shield
Dreadnought IWB kydex (many others out there)

I can also recommend Lobo Gunleather, UBG, TT Gunleather, Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, D. M. Bullard, Simply Rugged, Tucker Gunleather, Jackson Gunleather, Galco, DeSantis Cozy Comfort II. These are brands that I have used.

Wright Leather is another good brand that I'm looking to get one from in the future.

I don't like hybrids for such a small gun. I prefer them for my bigger guns. But Alien Gear makes a good product if you choose to go in that direction.

Just got my Cloak 3.0 from AlienGear along with a spare mag holster as well. Fits perfectly. I am certainly by no means a big guy (maybe 160 soaking wet). Currently going to start wearing it at the 430/5 o'clock position.

Very comfortable and snugly fits the gun to my hip/waist. Love how the gun feels secure in the holster as well. I did some sprints and jumping jacks and the gun never budged, so it makes me feel all the better knowing if I was ever knocked down that it won't fall out.

The mag holder seems to be pretty simple. I was a little disappointed to find out that mine did not come with the allen wrench (its supposed to) to adjust the retention. I will be contacting them for one to be sent, since its currently not tight enough to hold a 9mm Shield mag securely.

I use the Desantis cozy partner with my shield and it's very comfortable, I just had a hard time getting use to own carry, so when I carry my m&p 9c, I use the stealth gear own holster, and absolutely love it....

Most comfortable holster for me regardless of the firearm has always been a crossbreed supertuck. I have one for all the guns I carry, I've tried others such as old faithful which are nicely made holsters but, don't match the comfort I get out of the CBST... I also have one of these for when I need a quick on and off or when I stash the gun in my dresser drawer at night before hitting the sack.. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
