New shield 45

Hello everyone, first post here. Just wanted to express my gratitude of my new shield in 45. I've had the 9 and 40 options in the past but the grip never felt right and I lost interest in trying and went to a beretta nano. But two days ago I was in my local gun shop and saw the 45. I asked to see it and it felt like a match made in heaven. The slightly longer grip and the grip texture were perfect. And it's in my favorite caliber to boot. So I had to have it and bought it on the spot. Two looooong days later, I got some extra time on my lunch break and ran to my local indoor range. 100 rounds later and I am extremely happy with my new shield. Of course I'm working towards the 1,000 round trigger job before I carry it but it will be a joy. Also, I've read a lot of places that people are experiencing problems with releasing the slide stop on a new mag. But with the constant mag changes I didn't have a single problem. Slight downward pressure and it released every time. And lastly, I'm thinking someone had something to prove when they did the trigger on this gun, it is absolute butter. No creep, crisp break, and a glock like reset. Well that's all for my rant
God bless

Here in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts we are not yet allowed to own the Shield .45.
It is odd that this fine pistol is manufactured in this state, is not really any different from the
approved 9mm or .40 cal. version, but our Attorney General can't certify it for our use.
Lord save us from these people who know nothing about firearms getting to make the rules!

Enjoy your 45 Shield. We picked one up several months ago and it's a pleasant surprise. Noticeably smoother trigger than a 9mm and 40 that we owned (still have a 9) Gone is that horrible trigger break.

Anything the govt is involved with, never works for its people...
its run by communists... and they know exactly what they`re doing.

Just joined myself and also have the Shield 45. I like it so much that it made it possible to sell my Shield 9 and Glock 36.
