It's a very good price, especially if shipping is included.
Now... If people have an FFL that doesn't rape them with transfer fees, it'd be a great buy.

I thought it was an excellent price, thats why i wanted to post it. I do know, that there a few greedy gun stores out there that charge full list price, some even overcharge for a gun. I know this because there is a gunshop locally here, that list their guns at 30% above MSRP. I asked them why they overcharge, they said it was a trick to get the customer to think they were getting a great deal when they lowered the price back down to MSRP. Thats bad business practice`s in my book. Needless to say, they wont be around long. You hardly EVER see a car in their parking lot.

As far as i`m concerned, ANY FFL dealer that charges to transfer a gun to their customer, that will usually come back for more business, should have their FFL license revoked for life. I made that point very clear to all the LGS`s in my area that i shop at. You try to rape me with transfer fee`s, i`ll take my business elsewhere...i`ve never been charged a transfer fee since. People might think gunshops aren`t makin money, thats bullshit, they`re makin money hand over fist these days. They dont need to rape people for a stupid transfer fee, especially repeat customers. Its not like people are buying hundreds of guns at a time. Takes a couple minutes to transfer a gun...its not like its a big thing to do. I`ve never seen more money moved in gunstores until OBOZO ran for the WH in 2006...BEST GUN SALESMAN IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA. Theres no reason for them to charge these fee`s, other than greed for themselves and to hell with the customer. Back when i had a gunshop, i NEVER charged my customers ANY transfer fee`s.

I have a couple FFLs that charge $15-$20 for transfers and I don't mind that... But I've read some posts on forums where FFLs were charging $50+ .
Now THAT's ridiculous.

I hear that rob... the shipping fee`s then adding transfer fee`s,
might as well buy it local and take it home the same day.

That is a very good deal with the Shipping included. I haven't had one shipped to a dealer before....going to have to try it one day. I know we always have to do a background check, extra $10.00 to run the paperwork.

Ordered one last week took 4 days. Free shipping and no tax. Local stores price them for $399.99 and $427.00 not including taxes.
$329.00 + 15.00 for transfer is well worth the price and the wait.

Around Christmas they had 'em for $329 with two mags... I paid $479 with three mags and night sights. Coulda done the $329 plus $125 for sights and $33 for a third mag but that woulda run me $487 plus I'd have been without my gun while I sent the slide off for sight install which would have cost me another $40 with shipping I bet. We have Fin Feather Fur with about 4 locations around here, they have great pricing and selection on firearms.

I did this deal. Free shipping + $15 FFL at the local pawn shop. I went ahead and got the Veridian R5 laser sight with it for under $400 shipped.

Problem with the Veridian where the master switch was defective out of the box. Veridian wanted me to send it in for repair and I said I should be getting a new one since it was defective. "Oh, I can do that but you have to go through the dealer. "Say what?" First contact with Veridian was 02/27 and I am still waiting on an RMA through Sportsman's. I liked the product but the back end has convinced me to get a refund and go with another brand.

That's an awesome price. Just got mine bout a month ago new from Pawn Shop for $389. Wasn't the lowest I could find, but it was the lowest I could find for the no external safety model and actually had in stock. I'm sure if shopped around a lil more I could have found one cheaper. I was tired of driving. LOL I just might hit this deal up for the wife. She held my Shield in her hand once and was like oh hell yeah, I like this.
