Welcome Home a Bouncing, Baby Shield .40!!!

Been looking for a while for a new pocket carry . Bought a Kel-tec P-3AT about a year ago, but just really didn't like the way it felt. So, picked up a new member of the Family a couple of days ago. Can't wait to get it to the range!!!

I will say, though, with just a little dry firing, the trigger feels a little gritty. I've got a .40C that I loved from the time I took it out of the box. Just curious, does anyone have thoughts on the APEX Trigger & Duty Carry upgrade for the Shield .40?

My 40 shield has a decent(to me) trigger. Seems to feel a lil less rough than did when new.
When was it mfg'd.
Some later ones have some what better or so I hear.
Mine is a 2013 mfg.
I will say the trigger on the 45 shield is better.

Congrats on your purchase.

I'd give it a good cleaning and lube if you haven't already done so and shoot it and dry-fire it a bunch before throwing a ton of money at it in parts. My Shield 40's trigger is just fine stock.
