Jumped Ship

Well as much as I liked my Shield I sold it and went with the new M&P 2.0 9mm. Shoots great and not much harder to carry since I carry OWB 99.9% of the time.

Have some stuff posted for sale that some might be interested in

I have a 4.25 M&P and a shield, the shield isn't that much easier to carry it's more concealable though.

True. I don't open carry but I don't worry about concealing either as I normally wear my shirts untucked. We're open carry here. I just prefer more rounds.

Someone after my own heart. No one ever said they had too much ammo when it counted.

The only time I carry my SIG 938 is when I absolutely can't carry my 9c.

Brother this ONE story made me reconsider my carry option long ago.

The part that chaps my hide is what the Doctors asks the nurses.

Although we are an open carry state, I prefer to conceal carry as it calls less attention to myself.

I have a 9C and a Shield and find the Shield a lot more comfortable to carry. I am fine offsetting the 4 round difference between the two firearms by carrying a second magazine.

That's the first I read that story. But yes, what a stupid Dr. It takes what it takes to stop the threat.

In years gone by I carried a 1911, but the threat has changed due to people in charge who seem oblivious to what they're bringing into the country (I think it's deliberate treason; no one can be that stupid). So I swapped to round count. My hope is always to exit any situation since I'm just a citizen, but I also need to be prepared. When away from home I've also been known to carry a suppressed 5.56 with 5 30 round mags (with NV). Home defense away from home.

I almost never openly carry I don't always worry too much about printing because most places I go it's socially acceptable to be armed but, when it's not that's when I have to switch to the shield from the 9mm 4.25... I would like to add a 9c to my stash, I've had one or two in the past and it is nice to have the slightly smaller package at times however, I don't really know how much holster time it would get. I carry a second mag with my 4.25 (sometimes two) but, I always carry two backup mags with the shield. It's always a good idea to have a backup mag regardless of the capacity of your weapon.

I know what you mean.

It is ridiculous the stores that are bowing to a minority of anti-rights zealots and implementing "Gun Free Zones".

TGIF, Buffalo Wild Wings, AMC Theaters, CVS, Target just to name a few. The first four I do not go to at all, the last two I only go to as a last resort.

I refuse to make myself a victim because some business is to stupid to realize that publicly banning legal gun owners actually endangers their customers by turning their stores into target rich environments.

I wouldn't say you "jumped ship", I'd say you went from the "stern" to the "bow"!

Congrats on your new M2.0, I really like mine...but I still have my full size M1.0, compact and Shield too!
