FrogLube, I love it!

Sure it seemed gimmicky when I first read into it but I have to say, I love the stuff!

Being a life long Hoppes user I decided to switch to FrogLube and I'm really happy. Thought for sure it was crap until I shot my AR the first time with it applied and noticed it got lubricated more as it warmed up as advertised and then especially how easy the carbon just whipped away afterwards. I was sold and now every single one of my firearms are clad in the great smelling green stuff.

Only negetive I can find is it may harden up in freezing situations but... I live in South florida1 If it ever freezes here I have much bigger problems. Just sayin!

Frog Lube has taken quite a hit to their sales since it came out that it's really a vegetable oil, not much different from what you find in the grocery store for a very low price. There was even a analysis done at a university chemical lab that verified that aside from artificial color added that there was almost no difference between Frog Lube and common cooking oils.

I've used frog lube for a few years and I'm happy with it. I don't care if people want to hate on it or even if it is coconut oil, the stuff works and that's all that matters.

Next time you want to buy lube, compare the price of Frog Lube with coconut oil at the grocery store, you would be ahead to buy the cooking oil, its only a tiny percentage of the price of Frog Lube.

Me? I bought a quart of 30 wt Mobil 1 years ago, I might use it up in another 10-15 years if I live that long. Its a better lube and its cheaper, doesn't gum up no matter how long the gun sits or how hot it gets.

I bet that Froglube makes a great coconut suntan lotion as well.

The lube that does it all!

Guy I got my PC9 from said someone told him Mobil 1 synthetic is all you need to "clean, lube, and protect."

As a car guy, engine oil does have detergents to clean... and obviously can lube. He had it in a spray bottle. Haven't tried it but I'm curious to try eventually.

EDIT: just noticed G65 mentioned the same thing.

Has anyone ever tried Dunk-it? Was curious to see how it worked for them?

This is my opinion not personal experience, dunkers remove everything, the good and the bad, and it can be really hard to get the lube back in all the nooks and crannies.
