Shield takedown lever
Bought 2, 9mm Shields. After taking the slide off both to clean before shooting I noticed the take down lever on one swings freely back and forth and the other has a little tension and stays in the down position. When I put the slides back on and rotate lever up they both have equal tension and snap back into place with an audible click. I'm a little concerned that the loose one might not lock properly. I know that the lever can be rotated to about the 2 o'clock position and be lifted out of the frame. To put it back in you line up two nubs with corresponding notches in the frame. Is there anything else that holds the lever in and is there a retaining spring like on the full size M&Ps ?
