My ported Shield started to feel similar at 200 rounds.

Both, when new, had really stiff, gritty, recoil springs (you could hear the springs crunch as it compresses and decompresses lol)
GT, go get you some dri-lube, clean and spray the hell outta that recoil spring with dri-lube. You`ll be amazed.

Ill look into dri-lube but since new, I lubed the recoil springs well and they are quiet now.

Yeah same issue with just about every auto i`ve ever bought...noisy RCA.
Powder residue sticks to oil, spatters out of the gun everywhere, gun gets dirtier faster.
Once you use dri-lube on the RCA, you wont bother with the oil again. Heck of a lot messy too.

I use dri-lube on all my .22 auto`s. It fixed all the failure`s instantly, with exception to junk ammo.
I found that i could shoot twice the ammo out of my .22`s before i needed to clean them.

TBH I only lube my Shield recoil spring and I drop a drop with slide locked back to penetrate the inner spring. I stopped lubing my other pistols (have at least 4" barrels, and one is dual spring).
