| 9 going back to S&W
Full size 9 going back for accuracy issues. Love the weapon but wow, all over the place with all ammo. I wish it was the shooter but its not... Will it help sending it in or am I stuck with a lemon. I've read the issues about the 9 but thought it might be just a fluke with some. My 40 is great so Im a bit disappointed!

Send it back with a target, shot at 10 yards from a bench. Then Smith will know the issue. Jeff |

Test fire May 2012. I may be wrong and not as good as I thought I was. I wanted to make a test target to send with it so I put out the target at 45 feet. Set up a bench with a bag and shot 2 mags of 115 $11.00 walmart federal. The center is gone in my 3 inch red circle. I have a smile now but feel a bit embarrassed. I think I need some range time with this new platform being used to my glocks. This pistol is much better than me.

When I first got my 9c I was experiencing a number of failure to extracts. It seemed like every other mag I would have a stove pipe. After a lot more shooting and having many trouble free rounds through it, I learned it was me that was causing the stove pipes. I was limp wristing. My wife has only had the problem one time with the 9c and once I told her to lock her wrists she was golden and so was the 9c. Happy Shooting! -Dirvo- | |
