It's we Vets that thank you for the support we've received not to mention a steady paycheck which by the grace of God & the generosity of our citizens I'm still receiving in retirement.

I'll bet most of us here are vets. I still thank a soldier in uniform every time I see one. Even if I have to break away from what I'm doing.
Just a handshake and "thanks for keeping us safe". Makes me feel good, them to I hope.

Still trying to sneak in paying for a lunch or dinner for 1 and his/her family but timing hasn't been right yet.

It was our pleasure and most of us would go do it again for another 20 years if required.

I'm vet also, but in '73 there wasn't much in the way of thanks.

I run a small business and when I know someone's a vet what they ordered is on me. I don't advertise it, I don't want them to discuss it. I just quietly do it. My way to say thanks and I do it with a smile.

I'd like to see more business folks do that.

I extend my thanks to all Vets.

I did not serve but did end up with some skin in the game. My Vet, my Hero, my Corpsman, my boy, in whom I am extremely proud, still savin lives on the Appalachian Trail.
