Just as the subject says, how much did you pay for which M&P, when did you buy, and where did you buy?

I'm looking to purchase a new M&P 40 FS from my local gun shop in Northern California and they want $560 + tax and fees. I haven't tried to negotiate yet on the price but I'd like to pay $560 with tax before fees.

Basically just conducting some research :)

FS40: $398 through Quantico Tactical with my FL Armed Security License. With 3 magazines.

40Pro was about $490??? I forget.

I got my fs40 with that range and carry kit from the lgs for $525 before taxes.

I got my 40c new at a gun show for $460 before taxes.

Central Kentucky here and that was around average price except the compact was a deal. Most places wanted around 490-500 before taxes.

Both my guns were purchased in 2012 new. I am no police offer or anything to get those sweet deals. :( no breaks for average joe. Haha

Hope that helps out.

M&P 40C - $398 from Streicher's Police HQ. LEO/Security/Military sales come with 3 mags & for $455 it also comes with Trijicon night sights. S&W accidently shipped some guns to the store without the night sights & although I ordered mine with them I accepted it anyhow. I bought a new holster with the savings & painted the sights with Glow-On.

I just went thru this with the purchase of my 9mm full size. Everywhere I looked was out of stock for the 10 mag 9mm. I was referred to Quantico Tactical in Oceanside. My price for my Firefighter discount was $398. I believe it's not much more without discount. Talk to Michelle Garcia. They had .40 FS in stock also.

I don't know where your at in Norcal, but B2 Enterprise in Cotati has some .40's in stock.

Thanks all. I got a FS 40 new for $550 today. Seems to be tough to get a break on one in Cali. Oh well, love the gun so I'm not gonna bicker over $50 or whatever if I can support a local gun shop in the process.

They have 10 round 40 mags for $48 too, gonna try to see if I can work em down a few bucks when I pickup the gun in 10 days :)

I have 7 full size pistols and 3 Shields. I paid $419.00 plus tax for my first full size 9 at Academy in 2007. I paid $569.00 plus tax for each of my Pro Series pistols (a 9 and a 40) in either late 2011 or Early 2012 at McBride's in Austin. I paid $469.00 plus tax for another regular full size 9 and full size 40 at McBride's a few months earlier. I paid $505.00 plus $25.00 shipping for my Full size 45. I paid $329.00 each for my 2 full size M&P 22's on Gunbroker. I paid $419.00 plus tax for my first Shield 9 at Academy last Spring. I bought my second Shield 9 from McBrides for $449.00 plus tax (ordered it in July and it came in late November). I bought my Shield 40 on Gunbroker sometime in December of 2012 and paid $ 525.00 plus $25.00 shipping. My Gunsmith does not charge me transfer fees so that has never been an issue, however, he also runs the Boy Scout shooting program and ther is not telling how much .22 LR ammo and Shotgun Ammo that I have donated to them through him over the years). All of my M&P's with the exception of the .22's have Apex trigger kits, sears and RAM's in them. I also acquired 5 mags for each M&P well before that guy in the Whitehouse got re-elected.
