So I took the new girlfriends 22yr old son out to learn to shoot not long ago. He did very well for a 1st timer. On the ride home I asked him what he thought about learning to shoot, his reply was I want an M&P 9 like yours and an FAL.. I have him in limbo for a year while he saves to help out. Then this weekend we went and the new girlfriend learned to shoot. She wants an M&P as well. Can't fault their taste, now I'm gonna be broke saving for their project M&Ps ... lol
I totally understand. The youngest daughter (19 yrs old) normally shoots a 1911 9mm. While it was at the gunsmiths getting ambi parts put on, she shot my M&P 5" 9mm Pro at a match. I think I have lost my Pro to her. It is ok though, I have other guns and I have currently taken over the husband's 1911 45 acp.
