Recommend me some handguns

Might be the wrong place but didnt see a general firearm forum on here. Headed to a gun show labor day weekend in virginia and wanted to get some recommendations on good handguns to keep and eye out for. Budget is around $300-1000. I already own a M&P40 and a glock19. 40 is my fav caliber but i do like 9mm as well. Also prefer a full size to compact and a full metal or aluminum frame but im open to anythin. Go!

The Canik TP9SA or SF is a high quality gun for the price and for a list price of $400. Dealer price should be lower. I had one but sold it because it didn't fit my hand, otherwise I'd have kept it. I paid $350 for mine.

Glock G22 Gen 4 with a 40-9 conversion barrel. Get a .357 Sig barrel and you can shoot all 3 calibers out of the same gun. That's what I have.

Yup, what Don wrote. I include the Browning Hi-Power in that as well; as long as the magazine safety is removed.

I'd love to have some trigger time with a Steyr. But I'm deeply into the 1911 grip angle (40+ years worth). I've heard really good things about the Steyr. I wish they made a "for USA" version with my grip angle. I'd be all over it like stink on feces.

Sig SP 2022- polymer sig, hammered fire with a decocker. Trigger is great out of the box and is on the cheap side for a sig- under $500

Sig P229....it's the upper end of your budget, but one of my favorites. I seem to gravitate to it every time I go to the range.

Several Colt 1911's, including some in 9mm, fall within your price range.

I have four M&P's; but I have eight 1911's, including four Colts.

If shopping for 1911's; do NOT drink the kool-aid and buy a kimber!

Funny you say that because for whatever reason ive always been turned off by kimbers. Maybe its the prices on them or something but ive just never been interested in a kimber. Much better 1911 options in my opinion
