Dan Burwell, he still kicking? HELP!

Hi guys, new dude to the forum and a recent M&P owner. I purchased a rear sight from Burwells site but 4 days later I noticed that there is not shipping information as it pertains to tracking and such. I checked my paypal and all it says is - Flat Rate Shipping -, no dates or estimates. I've sent 2 messages to the email in the paypal receipt to no avail. I try to look up the contact information on his sight but it also does not work!

Something wrong here? He no longer works? Is this the his SOP?

I'm a bit on edge since I recently bought a holster that was awfull and am in the process of return it and now this...

Thanks in advance and if/when I get my sights there will be pictures of my M&P that was crippled recently.

Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Have you checked to see if your money has been moved out of PayPal yet?

As far as I know Dan has been MIA for awhile now. Every now and then someone asks about contacting him with the same results, no answer. BTW, I hope I'm wrong about this! Others may chime in with what I hope is a story about a successful contact! Hope this helps!

I hope you paid it for goods or services. If so, you're protected.

If the payment hasn't been completed it's no problem, just cancel the payment. If the payment has been completed then contact paypal and start the procedure to get it back. It might take some time, but you'll get it back.

BrianK, yep I paid it right then and there. Maybe it's a bad habit but I always pay at the momoment, be it ebay, amazon or in person. First time it bit me.

I started the procedure for it and sent him a message via paypal. That would be the 4th message this week. Now there is a deadline on July 11.....I hate being a poor student.

Ok so I was given a refund my Paypal. I will go out on a limb and say that Dan is no longer working. Hopefully it is nothing serious but still sucks that he has not taken down the sight.

I knew you would, it just takes a little time to work through the process.

Somewhere online I found instructions for a Burwell trigger job. If you have a dremel and Cratex wheels, or maybe even stones, you can probably do it. If you want what data I have (and if I can find it) PM me an e-address to send to. Or just google it and you'll find all sorts of info.
