X Glock Fan Boy

I've been a total Glock fan for a number of years, the only other carry gun that was not a Glock is my summer pocket carry S&W 642. One day I decide to pick up a singal stack 9mm and decided on the M&P Shield 9mm. I was really surprised when at my first range session I was holding tighter groups with the Shield than I ever did my Glock 26. I have big hands but Loved how the Shield fit my hand. A few months latter I traded my G26 for the M&P Shield in 45 acp. Again tight groups, love the texturing on the grip and fairly light recoiled. The other day another trade and purchase the M&P 9mm M2.0. Call me crazy, I am now totally a M&P shooter. M&P Shield 9mm, M&P Shield 45, M&P 9mm M2.0 and can't forget my little pocket carry S&W 642.

Congrats on your M&P's they're great pistols and go through ammo like poop through a goose!!

I'm pretty much an M&P shooter nowadays too, I have a Full Size, Compact & Shield all in .40S&W, great pistols!

I still have my old S&W Mod 27 from my LE early years, and I was able to buy back my old Sig P229 duty pistol after I retired, but they pretty much live in the safe.

Oh, and as soon as my local Sheriff's Office completes my background check (I'm hoping today) I'll be picking up a new M&P40 M2.0.

For years, i never understood the glock theme, i actually hated them for years because of the fanboys, then i bought a few to see what it was about. They work, and do what they`re supposed to do, BUT, since buying the M&P pistol line, the glocks are thinning out VERY fast out of my gun safe. I always hated how glocks fit my hand... actually, the most uncomfortable guns i ever shot..PERIOD... not to mention, very bulky. Their trigger guard rubs my middle finger bad, there is no finger relief chamfer there... and thats just a no go for me. And noooo, i`m not going to chamfer it, i shouldn`t have to. Thats where S&W got it right... they fit. The only glocks i have left is the 26 & 30S. I only keep those because of capacity of rounds... and they are both just home protection guns, thats it.

The M&P`s fit soooooo very much better in my hand. Absolutely the MOST comfortable guns i`ve ever shot, for striker fired guns. I`ve had to fix most the triggers on the M&P`s i have, because i cant stand their triggers, but they CAN be fixed. The M&P barrel`s are sloppy, but APEX does build very sweet barrels for the M&P guns (but not for the shield, but i also talked to Randy @ apex, they are coming eventually for the shield line)

You'll get no argument from me gents. They fit. That's precisely why I bought mine, warts and all.

Glocks have always felt like I was holding 2x4.
