My wife's first time shooting ever

So rather than having my wife get upset with me I opted to have my friend in the motorcycle club (who works at Gander Academy and is a NRA Instructor) do a private lesson with her.

He drew a circle on the target and told her to just use that as a reference point. He put one round in the M&P9 M2.0 and she shot that and it was inside the circle. Next time two rounds again both in the circle. She ended up shooting 7 rounds with it.

Then she moved on to the Shield 9 and she shot 30 rounds with that in a tight grouping all near the reference circle.

At which point my friend you are done you just need more practice either on the virtual or live.

She does not like the textured grip on the M2.0 but otherwise she likes that handgun better even though the Shield 9 fits her hand a little bit better.

Forgot to mention the 2nd round being fired from the Sheild 9 was a FTF. My wife asked my friend (I watched from outside the range to. It distract her) why it did not fire and there was only a click. Pulled the round out and you could see where the firing pin did strike the round but it did not fire. Put the round back in and next time it fired that round.

That was using Remington UMC 115 Gr.

Remington ammo is pure junk... i`ve had this happen using their shit ammo many many times.
I picked up a box of 22-250 off the shelf one day, (promotional sale on it) pulled the ammo out of the box to look at it. Two rounds had crushed case mouth`s. Handed it to the dealer, they pulled all the remington 22-250 off their shelf, several other boxes had issues as well. I use to buy the ".22 golden ammo", so many inconsistent rounds during firing. I gave up on remington ammo entirely. Never bought anymore remington anything.
