Many thanks for the warm welcome to mp-pistol.com!
9mm S&W Shield owner for about a year now. Love it! Always looking for new aftermarket products for the gun. Going to look into that new mag release extender I just saw advertised. Got my Florida Concealed carry permit last summer.
As the victim of a violent crime years ago, I am now proud to be able to make use of my 2nd Amendment rights under our Constitution to defend myself and family by carrying concealed down here in South Florida.
Just a bit about me...my chosen charity is The Wounded Warriors Foundation.
Everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend and please remember those who currently serve and had served in the past to guarantee our freedom and liberty.

Welcome from Wisconsin!

The Wounded Warriors Foundation is one of my favorites as I have many buddies (too many) that I served with that can avail themselves of their services. Gary Sinise is one of my favorite people.

Welcome!

Asking permission to carry a gun isnt exactly the same as exercising your constitutional rights, but thats for another thread...

Anywho, I personally think the M&P only needs one upgrade from stock, thats a new set of sights.. the TFX are on my "next to buy" list. The mag release and trigger at not THAT bad, Lil'Bravo and I both shoot bone stock M&P40 in USPSA and run&gun it just fine. Proof positive, upgrades are not "critical" to "shoot well".

Get the sights first, is my suggestion... put a few K rounds down the pipe and then think about whatever other upgrades you might want. In the end, its your gun and you are free to do what you want. Take my advice with a grain of salt. In most circles, I dont know what Im talking about. Thats the magical thing about the Enternets. :)
