I thought I had introduced myself when I joined, but don't see it. May not be looking hard enough.
I am an avid S&W M&P fan, and own several. I also own lesser priced guns and am just as happy with them. Call it luck if you choose to, all of my guns do as I ask them to without fail.
For my M&P's I have a much higher standard that they always seem to rise to. Smith's claim of 2-1/4" groups at 50 yards is something I wish I could attain. I have no doubt the gun is up to it, and more. But I'm not. All in all, my Smith's are all worth their price and more.
Always, be safe

Welcome to the forum from central Maine.
Not all M&Ps shoot good out of the box. But it's a small %. Mine had all it could do to shoot inside 5" at 15 yards from a rest if I remember correctly.
