This is not what I would have written above.

PaPow, everyone handles things differently. I take no notice of folks who aren't personable. By that I mean it's like water off of a ducks back. Thankfully I don't even remember their names; that's a blessing. Further, I figure that they're just taking an opportunity to prove to others just how miserable they are in life and that it's a sign to just stay away from them. I think someone wrote that they wouldn't share a few beers over a movie with them. Yeah, that's exactly what I mean.

It's like that guy at the USPSA 2016 Area 7 Championship. I was a scorekeeper on a stage. Now understand, most shooters are really top gents and ladies who I'd love to share some beers and watch a movie with. But there is that less than 1%. Anyway, this gent shot our very tricky stage that one had to have perfect timing to get a good score on. (Max Michel shot it 3.3 seconds) Anyway this "gent" shoots it and I record his score, the entire time the actual scorer and I are shouting back and forth so that we both know we're getting everything correctly recorded and so that others can hear it; even the shooter. This gent comes up to initial his score but won't because he thought he had more misses than I told him that he had. Misses! So I suggested that I'd give him as many misses as he wanted, what was the correct number? "Well, I don't know, but I had more than that!". He was a cheater trying to get a reshoot. The RO on the stage thought about it and the longer he thought about it the angrier he got. A few shooters later he approached me to tell me just how angry he was about it. I mentioned to him that he shouldn't be angry, he just needed to understand the cheater... That he was married to someone who hated him, and kids who learned that from their mom. He has a house that he can't afford and is living well above his means, and to top it all off he has a self image that makes him hate himself. He just laughed and said "Yeah, you're probably right, and he's from XXXXX (state), that's bad enough!".

People pretty much let others know who and what they are. Anyway, it works for me, and I don't allow their lousy self image to affect me, nor do I want to be in their physical presence.

I just try to do the best I can and allow them to do whatever it is they must do. But that's me some folks take things personally instead of realizing just how miserable folks like that are inside.

I kind of go with the..........this is the good ole U.S.A. You pay lots of taxes to be able to say any d@m# thing you want to. I believe that on this and other forums, as long as it doesn't get to the point of name calling, people should be able to hash out their differences without admins. getting involved, as long as it doesn't get to that point of name calling. Since this is a firearm specific site, sometimes you run out of things to talk about, and I think that this causes certain tensions with some members. Call me crazy. Personally, I have no problem with anything that is said on this forum. You(members) don't have to like me, you(members) don't have to live with me, and I don't have to live with you. At the end of the day, whatever is said on this site doesn't really matter in the whole scheme of things. Don't ever let it get to you. It's entertainment. Can you make friendships out of it? Possibly, but it is the net you know. You can be anyone you choose to be. I come for knowledge only.

Well you cant be thinned skinned and take everything personal on the intersweb.
I dont personally know anyone here nor do I take what they post personally even if directed at me as they dont know me as well.

I have posted on other boards and will say it here many times the stuff I post is more to "stir the pot" than anything.

Some of these threads can bore you to death with out the fun.

So if I should or have ever offended any one here

Too bad get over it. Its bound to happen again.

Tex, i get what your saying... BUT, let me tell you something upfront right now, and this is just coming from me... i`ll be the first to tell you or anyone else, i`m here for fun, learning, helping, teaching. If your here just to stir pots just to piss people off as your main goal just because something is boring...???..., you and i my friend, are going to butt heads. If you cant be decent to others, and wanna just throw insults around, just to stir pots to get on peoples nerves, please just keep it to yourself. Your "Too bad get over it" attitude shouldn`t be flaunted around here. It isnt necessary OR needed OR wanted, and most people wont put up with it for very long. I dont want to sound harsh towards you, but i wont come in here just to be insulted or pushed around just because you think its fun to do so. Take my advice, we`re here to have fun, and help others. We`re not here to piss people off.

Papow
I do on occasion actually add something constructive.
I have learned a little here and elsewhere.
Hell I learn something pretty much daily as I am not a know it all.
Didnt say my "goal" was to piss anyone off.
However if "you" should get that way well refer back to the aforementioned.

Oh BTW Papow climb down slowly wouldnt want you to hurt your old arse falling off the "soap box".

Enjoy your day.
