Hey from Texas

Glad to be here. Just recently purchased Shield 9mm and I'm completely in love. Coming from a former Glock lover I'm sure that speaks volumes. 😂😂😂 Hope to learn a lot from the more experienced guys as my love of Smith & Wesson grows, specifically the M&P line up.

Semper Fi Marine and welcome. I was also a Glock guy until I purchased my first M&P. Four M&P's later, no Glocks.

WELCOME MV1989... first things first... THANK YOUUUUU for your service to our country, we owe you.
We are proud to have you aboard sir...! Enjoy that M&P, but be careful, they do multiply rapidly when you least expect it.

I can definitely understand that. Already got my eye on a M&P Bodyguard for backup ankle holster and the Shield .45. Just watched a review on Gun.com on the Shield .45 and I love it. Going to the range tomorrow anyway, so I'm gonna see if they have one to borrow. I saw your post about you leaving. I really hope you stick around. You definitely seem like one of the most knowledgeable ones around these parts.

Awwww thank you for such kind words MV. I`m sticking around... i just let some idiots get under my skin early on, (young punks that like to start trouble) but that wont happen again... theres a member block feature thats VERY handy on the forums, and i`ll use it if needed. There was quite a few people that talked me into staying, i`m now thankful that i decided to stay. Those guys know who they are, and i have a HUGE amount of respect for them, they like family to me here. Very glad to meet you too my friend.

As for my knowledge, i`ve been into guns since i was very very young... learned most of what i know just by trial an error. I dont ever claim to know it all, but i`ve sure seen an done alot over the years.

You really cant go wrong with the M&P`s, they work, and are VERY dependable. They have their good an bad points, just like anything else does. BUT, the nice thing about the M&P`s, there isnt anything you cant get for them. They have a HUGE following with aftermarket goodies.

Bodyguard & 45 shield... all i can says, AMEN...!!!! You will LOVE how nice the 45shield shoots, its a very smooth recoil feedback. The accuracy is there as well... i just tried a couple that the guys had here on my range yesterday... very nice shooters...! You cant go wrong... but like i said, one will lead to another, and another, and another...lol. Gotta love it...hehehehe

You take care MV, be safe

Don't think you can go wrong with the 45 Shield. I have the 9mm & 45 Shield and what really impressed me about the 45 is how manageable the recoil is especially for a pistol that's almost the same size as the 9mm.
