After 1,985 rounds and a two plus year stay in Glocksville I have returned to the M&P Pistol fold with the purchase of the new M&P 2.0. Prior to the Glock 19, I had the full size and and compact 1.0 versions.

Welcome back. I thought I ought to own at least one Glock, but couldn't get comfortable with the grip angle. So I bought an M&P, then another M&P, then a Sig, then a CZ, then a....

Welcome from Wisconsin!

I had been issued a Glock 22 & owned a G23. Gave the 23 to my LEO son when I retired & before WI had a concealed carry law. I liked them but feel the M&Ps are a little superior.

Well, we`re still lucky in this country that we still have some choices to buy what we like. But if your a fanboy of only one brand, your choices become much much smaller...lol. Glock DOES do one thing right... the accessories and parts interchange across a broader spectrum of their guns more than any other handgun, in my opinion. And glock`s are a much simpler in design, and that makes them VERY desirable to alot of people.

I`m not a huge fan of the glock grip and frame, they dont fit my hand as nice as a M&P, but thats not a deal breaker for me, as i can shoot most any handgun with proficiency very very well. Being very good with most any handgun leaves the door further open to alot more toys to shoot and buy. Did i mention, i love guns...???

Because i like to shoot lead cast bullets, ALOT, the glocks have to have the barrel changed out to do so. Some people use the OEM glock barrel to shoot lead, i dont. So the added cost of a barrel, dosent make the glocks to useable in my situation, thats where the M&P is more favorable to me as a range & target shooter. I do conceal carry a G26 4thGen full time. My M&P`s are mostly range toys.

Options, and many of them, are a great thing to have

One more thing Tex45, if you shot one of my glocks, after i`ve modded it, you`d question yourself in why you dont own one.

After saying I'd never own a Glock, I watched some Youtube videos and saw how incredibly easy they are to take apart and modify, and the amazing amount of aftermarket parts available. So I got fired up to own a G19, but it just didn't feel right for me in the hand. So I had to move on......

No I wont cant stand the grip.
Do you change that at all say maybe a natural POA angle so I dont have to drop the barrel to get on target?

Didnt think so.

I have shot many and NONE have made me "want to rush out and buy one".

Never said I was a "fanboy" of any one brand.

One thing Im NOT however is a glock fan.
