New M&P 22

Hey everybody - new to the forums here. I rolled the dice on a used range pistol today. The local range is shutting down and they were getting rid of their m&p's for pretty cheap - $199 plus a holster, two mags, and some ammo. Seemed like a decent enough deal.. Spent a good hour and a half cleaning it tonight and it feels pretty smooth. I'll report back after shooting it!

Welcome from Wisconsin!

$199 sounds like a very good deal for an M&P. Being a range gun it should be well broken in.

Gun, mags, holsters AND ammo for $199. That is one heck of a deal. Glad you found it.

Pretty good deal..! Just wish they were made in the USA, then i`d buy one.

Off track a little... BUT... its so cool to run into other musicians.
I have a 60 stratocaster, and its never ever been played... hang tags are still in the original hardcase with the guitar. A woman bought it for her husband for his birthday in 1960, but he wanted an acoustic guitar. So long story short, he put it under their bed, there it sat, inside the case, until he passed away. She later on went into a nursing home, their daughter cleaned out their house, held a garage sale, i happened along the garage sale one day, i bought the guitar. It still looks like the day it was bought brand new in 1960. It has only been out of its case twice since 1960...and still, never played to this date today.

It needs to be played!

I have an Artist Series Clapton Strat, and a PRS McCarty Model, with a 10 top, and birds. Oh yeah; and a Taylor 314 CE.

I played Les Pauls for over 30 years, but just couldn't take the weight on the shoulder night after night anymore.

I've been playing in bands for over 50 years now.

I was offered some very BIG money for it by 2 different collectors. When i finally fully retire, i`ll sell it.

Played 40+yrs in rock bands... opened up for some big rockstars... awesome.
Still have all my les pauls, YEP, to dang heavy... main guitar i play now is a PRS annv 10top.
I only have 32 guitars left... got rid of alot of them... i dont play in bands anymore.
