New-Old Guy

Greetings from The Land of Oz. I'm a geriatric tenderfoot. Bought first SD & CC last June. Glock 19, which I greatly enjoy. Couldn't pass up getting the 9mm Shield after some in-depth research. S&W reputation for excellence, lifetime warranty, and price with rebate were significant incentives. Rented the Shield earlier this week just to make sure it was a good fit. It was! Bought it 2 days ago. I Obviously need a lot of fine tuning, but it's an extremely well thought out weapon. I also have an enormous amount to learn. Very glad to be here. Look forward to benefitting from the wealth of collective knowledge/experience. An equal challenge for a person who cut his teeth on the rotary phone is just learning how to navigate on this Forum.

Welcome from the upstate of South Carolina. I also had the rotary phone and how about the party line. Great bunch of people on this site, like they say. Be careful the M&P's have a way of multiplying.

Can anyone explain what the square and stars on my iPhone are? How they are used? A link that would help me communicate on this Forum?
