You left my preferred 10-8 Performance sights off the list! I'm using the stock SnW front white dot with the 10-8 serrated black rear on my MnP. I've got Warren Sevigny Competition, black rear, FO front, on my G17. That pistol is my primary competition gun.

Sorry, was not intentional. I tried to remember all that I could.

No harm, no foul, brother. There's about a quarter of a bazillion sights for MnP's out there now, with more coming out every couple minutes. One the plus side, I take that as a sign that the MnP is a major player in the market, both on the contract sale (LE and like that) and on the civilian side.

I did a poll a while back, here's the link:

http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=20530

Warrens and Trijicons are very popular. I got both which I attached to a wooden M&P 9 Full replica I use as a sighting jig. It helps me practice as well as evaluate the sight before mounting them so in the event I dont like them I can return them. A little shooting background about myself is I am new to pistols, many years a shotgun shooter, and I love ARs. My right eye being my dominant is actually not as clear as my left. So I somewhat struggle to see the front sight during inside range shooting. If I were to shoot exclusively in the daylight the 10-8 rear and hi-Viz front in green is my choice!!! Love it. The rear 10-8 is a "U" shaped notch and the notch is tight so not a lot of slop in it like I felt with the Warren Tact...the front sight swims in between the rear notch. I like the 10-8 alot!!! You can maintain excellent speed and excellent accuracy! Great day sight setup.

As for the Warren's which I currently have on my M&P, I have shot over 400 round thru and I cannot maintain any level of accuracy nor speed for that matter because of all the slop of the rear notch being far wider than the front sight width. I have the 2 dot night sights. I do like tha feature for the rear yellow and front green is very smart to better alignment. However 2 dots lack vertical accuracy during night shooting. That is were a three dot is nice. For the three dot I like the AmeriGlo with the operator yellow rears. Very nice. A little less busy than the Trijicon and not nearly as tight...time consuming to line up rapidly. Just my opinion.

Also I like the Heinie Straight 8 Slant Pro LEDGE. accurate, fast and when you do John-O front sight paint, the sight in the day screams at you making acquisition FAST! But since it is tight I think you still get great accuracy in range and day shooting. It is a 2 dot green design, wish they did it in a yellow rear and a green front. It has a tighter rear notch unless you do the qwik with is a larger rear notch...I dont recommend it. Unless you shoot endlessly and practice alot I think you need to start off with something simple. I rally did want to like the warren the back I think is too shapely and the notch is too wide in my opinion.

I have not shot the XS. I wish they made the rear side with tritium...which I think defeats the purpose of a night sight if you only have a front with tritium...how do you line it up? But I think it is a pretty liked sight and great concept.

Hope I helped.

That may be wanted. However, not neccesary all the time. Even the one of the best Armies in the World only wanted the front sight tritium.

The Israeli Army teaches their soldiers to only use the front sight for CQB training. They did not want to mess with training to correctly center on three dots at night or in dark places. They feel that even two dots is to much.

I am bringing this poll back up in hopes that everyone will reply to the poll. 234 viewed the poll and only 23 voted. I would appreciate everyone voting.I now have the express sights for my M&P45 and am happy that I did get them. The company is very helpful with giving directions on how to mount them and even offer a video on their website. which I have not found on anyone elses website that I can see (In all honesty I have not looked. Except that they do not even offer going to one for installation. Where as xssights.com does without question.).

So do you want me to start the whole poll over? It was not intentional. I just bumped the old poll.
