6, 17 rounders for my M&P9 FS, 3 for EDC and 3 for Range IDPA matches.

All of my mags got the Compact baseplate installed, reloads and carrying this way is more comfortable for me!

I have 10 for my M&P-40c

14 for my M&P-40 FS and 40 CORE

and 9 for my 9mm Shield.

I usually like 20 mags for all my double stack guns and 40 for all my single stack guns. So, I have to buy some more M&P mags. But as I have about twenty 1911s I have probably over one hundred 1911 mags now. I bring about 40 with me to the range at a time and rotate their use.

One of my 1911s at the range:

Well, this survey is a bit useless.

When I initially responded; I had four 17 round mags.

Since I "already responded;" I can't update my info.

I currently have 12 fullsize 9mm mags, and five compact 9mm mags.

So; of what benefit is the survey information?

I typically load out with 3-4 mags for each of my weapons...if I cannot get to my carbine in that time I guess it's just my time.

When I bought my M&P 9 in April I purchased 2 extra mags so I now have 4. However, just a few days after I bought the pistol I learned that S&W was giving 3 mags to recent purchasers. I sent in my request and supposedly at the end of July I should be receiving 3 more mags and I will be up to 7. The extra mags really come in handy at the range like several have already stated because you can spend your time shooting and less time loading the mags. I am considering buying a Shield and if I do I will probably invest in several more mags for it.

One thing I bought that I think everyone should invest in is a loader. I have a HKS and a UpLula and they both save the thumbs. I'm 68 and have a little arthritis in my thumbs plus my hands have just gotten soft since I put the tools down and went to a supervisory type job years ago. The HKS works well, is relatively easy to operate, and is less expensive, but the UpLula is just slick the way it works and loads a little quicker than the HKS. The UpLula costs about twice as much though.

6 for my full size 40 and 1 for my new full size 9mm. I need to invest in more magazines especially for the 9mm.
