As of currently, my 40c is still stock. May possibly look into some good night sights, but it still only has about 200rds through it. Other mods may be in store unless I can find a decent range gun to distract my compulsion to tweak.

Dude, tweak away, but be responsible while doing so.

I have the M&P9FS with a stippled grip and TLR-1 attached. It will have the Apex DCAEK installed next week.

Wink

My competition trained trigger finger is much too snooty to use stock triggers. My FS M&P 40 and my M&P 40 Shield both have Apex hard sears installed in them. My Kimber Custom Stainless II has a trigger job on it and amazingly enough, my M&P 22, made by Carl Walther, in Germany has a very good trigger right out of the box. It is the only pistol that I have not messed with the trigger!

I had to vote factory/stock. I've got two. One is stock - the one that works without fail so far and its the one I carry (M&P full size in .357 SIG).

My first one is a full size 9MM that had failure to fire issues out of the box. An APEX kit made it better but didn't fix things completely. I don't carry that one, not till I figure it out and get it working every time.

Apex internals, warren rear sight, trijicon front going in on Friday. Talon rubber grips. My EDC. Shoots like a dream. I can balance a penny on the front sight and dry fire all day long. It was tougher was the stock trigger.

With the new trigger that has reset that can be positively felt and has smoother pull, I feel no need for any after market modification what so ever.

I carry an M&P 40 full size.

All of my M&P's are APEX'd. Wouldn't have it any other way.

My .40 full size is stock currently and I carry it daily. Only changes I'm considering making is adding the APEX Poly Trigger because I'm not too fond of the M&P jointed trigger, and a new set of sights.

My M&P45 has an APEX kit in it, but my M&P40 is stock, just like my work gun. Occasionally I fantasize about putting a hard sear in both my work gun and my personal gun, but as it would be very much against regs, I resist the urge.
