I'm trying to decide on an optic for my AR.
I had 2 options fall in my lap
The first is a used vortex strikefire that a friend will sell to me for $100
And the second is a sightmark SM26008 that I found clearanced at cabelas for $89. I'm torn between the 2 styles and I honestly don't know about the quality of either brand to help sway me one way or the other.

Also consider the Vortex Spitfire. It's a prism scope, so the reticle is etched in the glass. If the battery fails, you can use the black reticle. Most of the time, I don't even turn it on.

I would go with the vortex. Better quality and warranty that's about the best there is.
