I have an 870 on the way. It is the standard 870 express HD with bead front site and no rib. Is there a way to fit a fiber optic site (or any other site for that matter) to the front of the barrel? Most clip on F/O sights need a rib in conjunction with the bead to keep them in place.

Kinda depends upon your intended use. If you're a gamer, the Vang Comp seems to be the way to go. If you've ever fired a ported weapon in dim light, it's quite the spectacle. Reduced recoil ammunition is a cheaper way to go. After all, you've gotta buy ammo anyway.
I had a LPA rear sight with picatinny rail lying around, I also had very good luck with LPA's fiber optic front sight as well... I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting a better sight for their shotgun.
