Coyote Attack Scenario:

Hunting camp, 11:45 a.m.
Dependents on site: your six week old mini daschund puppy.
Arms: 1 Mini-14 with ten thirty round loaded magazines.
1 S&W M&P FS 9mm pistol, with 6 loaded magazines.
Communications gear: One 2 meter ham radio, AM/FM transistor radio, 1 PDA with internet.
Singlewide trailer with fenced in yard.

Event proper: You have just finished playing with your puppy, he is napping inside his carrier, and the same carrier is inside your living room. While fixing lunch, you hear gun shots. Intrigued, you arm yourself and investigate. You see two men being chased by approximately fifty coyotes.
You believe them to be out of ammunition for both their lever action rifles and revolvers. What do you do?

I'll play after some of you join in here.

grab tactical snacks?
Anyone with guns in the position to be attacked by 10, let alone 50 coyotes, should have been a little more prepared. I would video tape it and post it on youtube. Make some money while demonstrating how if people were properly armed, they wouldn't end up in such stupid situations. Hence the "mini-14 and 9mm with surplus ammo guy" was able to safely witness such events.

I have an mp22, a 10/22, and more than enough stingers to take care of 50 coyotes. I can also climb 6 ft into a tree.

I'd wake up from this silly dream, go pee, get a drink of water, and head back to bed.

Shoot the coyotes as safely as possible near the two would be victims. After the battle is ended, call the two men over and check them for wounds. If they are wounded, give basic first aid and call for an ambulance by radio.

Otherwise, give them each a cold diet pop and a ride back to their base, as reasonably practical. But first, lock the door and the yard gate to home. Return home and have lunch.
