2017 IDPA Classifer MP9 Pro 5"

local club match - we setup and tested the new 1 sec rule and new classifier last night. I was rated SHARPSHOOTER before, and in the new one I remain SHARPSHOOTER, although much closer to expert now. Unclear if that is an improvement on skills as its been sometime since my last classifier, a function of the improvements I made to the gun with a red front optic, and APEX CompAEK kit, or if the Classifier is just that much easier now. Time will tell I suppose. I do know, that last night was my first shoot with the CompAEK installed and dang - much easier to throw shots on demand. happy with it for sure.

The trigger has a huge effect. Carry on!

Dang! I'm going to miss not shooting for the next 4 months that "we" shoot indoors. Your video drove that home for me.

Competition AEK was a sexy add-on for sure, the headshots on stage 1 string 1 (second set of 6 rounds) was so much more purposeful with the reduced trigger weight. Being able to pop a round off while traversing into a target is a huge benefit. Just not having to stop then aim, then squeeze the trigger saves precious time.

B'B', IDPA, USPSA, whichever, yup it's fun. If you haven't tried it you should. Maybe the first few matches might not be fun due to the stress and such, but trust me, yes it's fun. The stress simulates the real world. The matches aren't even close to being top secret so those in your area can be found with a search engine. I think the USPSA website has both but I could be wrong.
