3-inch GP100:

That's my ideal wheelgun, and the only one I have that I'll carry with any regularity.

Ah, a kindred soul! My perfect wheelgun is usually the one in my hand at that time.

Model 64 double action only, shortened trigger pull, moon clips, champhered, C-More red dot.

Model 67 stock.

Model 63-4 8 shot 22.

Model 686p stock

Model 625 purchased yesterday for the PSA limited class.

Now, if I could only learn to be as good as these revolvers are!

I can't say what the ideal revolver is, but the one that i enjoy shooting the most is my pop's 4in. Colt Anaconda .44mag. I don't know if he just got lucky and picked a good one, but the trigger is incredibly smooth DA, and must be 2# max in SA. It's a blast (literally) to shoot, and way more accurate than I am. Glad i don't buy the ammo though.

For the moment a GP100 4". As soon as the S&W Model 610 4" 10MM/.40S&W becomes available I want one.

thats a nice gun man. I've wanted a 3" gp 100 for awhile now. Have you ever checked out the grips made by Badger? Also wickedgrips.com has some pretty interesting grips.

I've got a set of Badgers on a square-butt Model 64, but I wouldn't think of changing the grips on this GP100. The factory small grip is one reason I like this gun so much.

Well I still have my Model 66 that was issued to me 22 years ago, so that might be my favorite one.

For practical purposes I would have to say my ideal wheelgun would have to be a S&W Model 610.

I still have a good supply of 10mm ammo left from my 1006/1076 / Glock20/29 days, and I get all the free .40S&W ammo I can shoot

Pretty good combo IMHO!

Dan Wesson Model 15 .357 Monson, MA manufactured. I have 4" and 6" barrels, going to get a 2 1/2". Excellent trigger, very accurate, and I can change barrel length in 60 seconds.

I am happy with my 686+ 4in. I need to replace my rear sight though as it is all beat to hell. Any suggestions on a rear sight?
