Model 10 SB Bud's Gun Shop

Got a M10 SB at Bud's last week. $300.70 shipped and transfer fees. Serial # BHT 3XXX. Victoria PD Australia police trade in I believe. Bore is clean and action is good. Grips are pretty beat up and blueing is faded in end of barrel and back strap. Overall, not too bad. I think they still have SB and RB available.

Nice! Heck of a good deal.

What is the dash number? Just curious.

All she needs is some Ahrends retro targets and you've got yourself one heck of a nice revolver. The finish wear just adds character.

Love it!

Glad to have that one back in the USA! Aussies don't know what to do with guns anyway!! Nice one! Good deal, too!

I was actually thinking of just slapping some S&W dymondwood service grips but now you got me looking at those maple retro targets.

There is definitely quite a bit of holster wear but I agree with what you see...I also think it adds character. I believe she was born in the early 90's.

Thanks FUBG!

Thanks!!!

I read in another forum where an Aussie posted that these guns were really not cared for a lot. He said that there were detachments wherein they had to turn in their pistols at the end of each shift for the next shift to use.

FYI there is seller on ebay named "gripseller" that always has a lot of Ahrends grips for sale. What makes it nice is the picture of the grips he is selling is the actual pair you get. This takes all the guesswork out of the purchase. If you buy direct, for example, it takes several weeks and you never know what they are going to look like. Gripseller shows you the exact pair of grips you are buying and they show up in days, not weeks. The cost is the same as if you buy direct.

Personally, I think THIS pair would look (and feel) great on your revolver, but that's just me. Have a look at all the others he has for sale and you may find something you really like. You will be surprised at how nice these grips are.

I am not the seller but I have purchased several pairs of grips from this guy (or gal??) and have always been happy. This is the way to go if you are thinking about a pair of Ahrends.

Nice purchase! As someone state on this Forum once before "I've never seen a good shot with a pretty gun" lol! I carried a Browning Hi-Power for years and it went from being a very deeply polished blue to dang near no bluing from years of carry.

Thanks for the heads up on "grip seller"! I will definitely check it out. Hoping to shoot her this weekend and see how she does.
