66-2 Snubbie

Just like the title says I'm now the proud owner of a Model 66-2 2.5" snub nose revolver. Fit and finish look great! No forcing cone damage. Rear sight de-horned for carry. Both double and single action trigger pulls are wonderful! Very smooth! She is a real beauty! I'll try to post some pics soon!

Great little pistol. I just picked up it's blued cousin, a 19-3 in the 2.5" and love the way it feels. A trip to the range on Sunday will tell a lot. Congrats on the 66!

Thanks guys! Since I posted this I've also picked up a Model 64-2 with a 2" barrel. It's now my EDC!

66's are awesome revolvers. I went through the police academy back in the mid 70's with a 4" and back then we had to shoot from the 50 yard line which was not a problem with the 66. Wish I still had it, but I traded it for a model 27-2 3.5" barrel...still have it!
